The weather in the north of Egypt.

At the first article, we wrote about the weather in the South of Egypt, and in this article will know more about the North of Egypt.

This part of Egypt which contain Nile delta and the Mediterranean, still unknown and not been visited by most of the tourists who were in Egypt before.

Starting from the most well-known city (Alexandria) the city of Alexander the great and the bride of the Mediterranean, which occupy a special status in the hearts and souls of all the civilized people.

On the coast of the Mediterranean, there are some important places like Alamein were witnessed the beginning of the end of the second world war, the north coast which is the main resort for the Egyptians and the Arabs during the summertime and a very nice city which is called Marsa Matrouh.

The best months to visit north of Egypt are May, June, July, August September, October and November.

We shall divide north of Egypt to two main parts Nile delta and the Mediterranean coast, because of the Mediterranean is cooler and has the best weather which its warmth mixed with the fresh air coming from the sea, that makes you live fiction and sailors stories like Aladdin.

The weather on the Mediterranean coast from May to November.

May the average high 25 °C and the average low 16 °C,
June the average high 28 °C and the average low 19 °C,
July the average high 29 °C and the average low 21 °C.

August the average high 30 °C and the average low 21 °C,

September the average high 30°C and the average low 20 °C,

October the average high 27°C and the average low 17 °C.
November the average high 24°C and the average low 13 °C.

The weather on the Nile delta from May to November.

May the average high 30 °C and the average low 14 °C,
June the average high 32 °C and the average low 19 °C,
July the average high 33 °C and the average low 20 °C.

August the average high 33 °C and the average low 21 °C,

September the average high 30°C and the average low 17 °C,

October the average high 29°C and the average low 15 °C.
November the average high 25°C and the average low 11 °C.

From December, especially in the second half of December to the first half of April, the weather in northern Egypt is not stable, especially on the Mediterranean coast with relative rain.

Winter is not the right choice to visit the Mediterranean coast, it can be a relatively good time for the Nile Delta, but to get the maximum experience and enjoyment from Northern Egypt, its civilization, its great history, the culture of the local people which mix with the atmosphere of the Mediterranean, it is better to visit the Nile Delta and the Mediterranean together.
